Meet Dries
Dries started slangin' Wafels because he wanted to do something in the hospitality industry. He thought of all the times his friends asked him for stroopwafels. Every time he went to The Netherlands, he brought back packs to share.
It took him three months to perfect his recipe, with help from the Stroopwafel Academy in Marknesse, The Netherlands. His approach to making fresh Wafels is grounded in doing what's right, for people and the planet.
Stroopwafels are a vehicle for socialization. They bring joy and provide opportunities for interaction. Dutch Boys Wafels prides itself on Unreasonable Hospitality, connecting with guests while doing more than they expect.
We do things differently, we like to live life to its' fullest, and we are in business to make other people happy. Stroopwafels are our way of putting a smile on your face, and we hope to spread our mantra, one Wafel at a time.
